I´m wondering whether it is possible to purchase DJI care for a replaced Mavic. When I ordered the original drone I did not choose it but am thinking now about it.

You mean it was replaced under warranty? I would guess that it's possible and that the process would be the same as if the Mavic had never been replaced.

Yep. Had the "blurry image" problem and it is now on the way back to me.
Had some critical situations with the first Mavic (but was beyond the 48 hrs after activation) and think even when I feel comfortable and have a little experience in the air, things can happen you´re not prepared for (birds etc.).

TO DJI:

Shall I simply purchase DJI Care through DJI Store or does require a different way for replaced drones without having purchased DJI care for the original drone?

My first Mavic was purchased without DJI Care. Now it was replaced because of blurry image and I´m thinking about DJI Care.

My question: Is it possible to purchase the DJI Care for replaced product when the original product had no Care plan?

Yes, you can purchase DJI Care Refresh for your replaced Mavic. But if the actication time is over 48 hours, you will need to do the video verification.
Or you can get in touch with our DJI Care suppor team at djicare@dji.com.
They will be able to assist you.

According to the first flights the camera works fine. Did took only a pics so far, no videos. But all looks good to me at this point.

I wouldn't get the DJI Care, in my opinion it is a big joke and a wasted of money just like DJI's after sales service. Another way of making more $$

Sure, it is a way to make money. But it is not an invention of DJI.
But in case where you are absolutely not responsible for an accident (birds, wind etc) it will save you some €€€.
May take time to replace/repair but still better then paying 1200€ for a new one.
