Nice weather though and I think the colour is probably at it's best at this time of year.

A suggestion:
I think some panoramas might be in order to get a wider angle view.  On the first photo, if you had panned the camera down and made a panorama with several frames ending looking vertically downwards directly at the railway it would make for a more interesting photo, as in my first photo here: http://forum.dji.com/thread-89253-1-1.html .  The last photo looks like it's missing part of the view on either side, a panorama adding another half frame either side might be quite nice.  (I seem to remember some wide format postcards of the mountains on sale.)
