I sent my RC to DJI to have a broken right antenna replaced.  I received a quote from DJI today for $299 + $65 which is obviously more than the cost to purchase one new.  Before I call them to ask if that is quote is correct, I would like to hear other's experience with remote controller repairs.

Considering how important the antenna is, I would suggest letting DJI fix it or getting a new one. If you attempt to fix it yourself you may end up losing the Mavic.

No explanation, just an apology...which was nice.  I'm guessing, someone simply clicked on the wrong option.  He advised to pay promptly to get the repairs started ASAP as they were moving to a new facility and there might be a delay because of it.  I paid on 4/20, 2 days ago, and my status is "Under Repair." A note says to allow 3-4 days for repairs and testing.  I'm anxious to get it back.
