Hi all,

I'm a new drone and dji user and just picked up my Mavic today. After completing several firmware updates, the last of which was interrupted, the controller does not connect to the Mavic and visa versa. The rear light on the Mavic continues to flash yellow and I've tried all of the recommended ways to pair the controller and drone.

The drone flies and connects to the controller in wifi mode, however.

What could be causing this issue? Is it the firmware?

Please advise.

May want to hook it up to DJI Assistant 2 and do a proper firmware upgrade there.
You don't want interrupted firmware upgrades on your craft..

Did you update both the aircraft and RC firmware?
Please connect to DJI Assistant check the firmware again.

I was gonna ask if your RC and MP has the same FW.
Maybe there's  your problem there.

I'm having several issues:

1) I can't update my controller. In DJI Assistant 2 it's showing as "V00.00.0000" as the current version. Downloading the update goes ok but it always fails at installing.

2) Drone connects and flies ok in Wifi mode but the controller won't connect to the drone.

3) Controller unable to factory reset.

Is my controller and drone bricked???

I'm this close to returning it. Please help!

I am having similar issues, will not connet, out of the box....grrr

I have the same problem, but on the aircraft.

DJI is terrible. $1300 and my Mavic have never flown once. Firmware update failed and controller won't connect.

Always provide your phone/tablet type, OS, FW version.  Did you log in to DJI and created your account?

I brought me today and having the same problem. Remote wont connect to drone. Done updates, reboot everything that was suggested just wont connect... grrr
