I'm hoping this will be faster than trying to google and research the issue our company is having. We've just recently purchased a Phantom 1 and cannot get a clear image out of the camera, whether the camera is on the drone or just held by an individual. I've read that a low ISO would reduce graininess but even with it, our images still do not come out clear. We held the camera in front of a Foldgers coffee can and the picture only shows the shape of the can, no text. We assumed with a 4K video, we would not have a problem getting crisp images.

Has anyone had a similar problem and figured out a solution???

Are you certain that you have a P1? Could you happen to provide a picture of your set up?

Yes positive. It traveled recently so it is currently in it's case.

Based on what you've provided, this is an Inspire 1 and not a Phantom 1. Those are two separate systems. Please make sure that you're updated to the latest firmware. If everything is updated and the issue persists, then it would be a hardware issue that would require sending the unit in for further evaluation and repair. If you just got the unit, then seeking an exchange would be the quickest solution. For future reference, any additional questions or concerns should be directed to the Inspire section of the Forum.
