Hi, I was flying today and accidentally clipped an overhead telephone cable.  The contact was fairly minor, although he did come into contact with it.
There is no physical damage to the Phantom 4, but I am getting two red lights on the front of the unit.
I have tried factory reset and recalibrate but the lights still remain on.

The unit seems to fly ok, although maybe slightly slower going forward.

Does anybody have an idea of what this may be and the solution.

I look forward to hearing from you and many thanks in anticipation.

Regards.

Matt

Thanks Delta Nine.....

This is why our think I have a problem because two lights on the front stay solid red.  But I'm wondering if they stay solid red anyway as the manual says they do this on the front?

With the warning lights, which lights are they talking about being solid red which indicate a critical error?

Cheers

Matt

The front lights  (red, always solid, NOT blinking -EXCEPT when in Gesture Mode aka Selfies) are there to let you know where the front of the aircraft is.  The light on the back (battery side) are called "Aircraft status Indicator" and can show different colours and blinking patterns, as shown in the table previously posted.  So if it is the FRONT lights that glow solid red, no worries. If it is the BACK ones, then WORRIES: Critical Error (whatever that may mean...

Have you checked in the app if the switch for the (red) front LEDs is on or off?

Uh, IF it was OFF I suppose the problem would be quite serious

It's always the smallest of details that most of us seem to overlook.

If you've reinstalled or updated the app recently, the front LED options could have been enabled at stock settings.

If you've had a collision with something (telephone cable) you've probably damaged the forward collision sensors and they're not working correctly hence the critical warning.
