After a month of waiting I finally received my DJI Mavic pro back. It flew great! However, when you go three or 400 feet up, you can notice the horizon is tilted a few degrees..

Diagnosed with DJI and they want me to send it back..

Nice " Quality check" DJI

I guess I'll be waiting another month..

I even type the serial number in and the manufacture date was  March,15,2017

Have you tried to do gimbal calibration, you can also offset this in the app by setting gimbal roll -or +, that horizon is mm off, I don't think you need to send in for that, talk to a mod here and see what they recommend.

Good luck.

Hallmark. Yes I performed gimbal calibration. And IMU. I tried the gimbal roll. But I would seem to reset after I turn off the craft.. I shouldn't have to do that every time

Have you done a downgrade and upgrade of firmware?

I had a similar issue the other day with our mavic..

Turned it on, gimbal horizon line was out badly - the gimbal had actually rolled to the left.

Gimbal calibration didnt work, adjust gimbal roll didnt work, recenter gimbal didnt work.

Moved the mavic onto a different level of grass, rebooted it - gimbal calibration completed. All good to go, horizon line fine. No need to adjust.

Then, happened again. So i thought, from experience of flashing devices sometimes things can get messy. So i downgraded then upgraded firmware.

hasn't happened since, fingers crossed.

Think it may be a bug between the gimbal providing strange feedback from the motor and not being able to calculate neutral roll from its IMU's. ( just a speculation )

Hope you don't have to send it back

EventDrone- yes I did exactly everything you just said..
- refreshed
- downgraded & upgraded back to must current.
- calibrated in assistance 2
- auto calibrated & IMU calibrated.
- flashed sd card
- calibrated several times

DJI mindy - I have the most current in assistant 2. DJI customer support already confirmed with me

Tilted horizon, not easy to get a perfect one, but i suppose your entitled pity about having all the disruption, I have one I'm very happy with 90% of the time, but sometimes I have to correct in post, it's not really a hassle for me. Hope you get a good one. Good luck..

Sometimes my Mavic has also a horizon problem.
Then after calibration it's all fixed.
Happens most when going from sports mode to regular mode.

And in your case on the first picture it's obvious.
But on the second picture i think my own horizon is a bit off.
Cause when i look at the second picture you posted i cannot see anything wrong with that horizon?
