I just bought a DJI Phantom 3 standard from DJI.  I downloaded the app on my Droid Turbo 2 running android 7.0.  I open it, and in about 30 to 40 secs if shuts down.  HELP please.  I really want to fly my new toy!!!!

226mb free without DJI GO started ?
I have 800mb/2GB free without DJI GO, and app freezed after 9-10 mins, because system start unload other apps, such as system desktop, and then DJI GO can be unloaded too.
I fixed it by install ROEHSOFT Ram expander - root only.

Thank you, I think I am going to try it with one of my tablets instead.  Bigger screen anyway!!  Thanks for the help.

How many apps and services do ya have running in the back round ?  With a task terminator i can  make free ram 994 MB out of 1.5 GB on my tab. The first times i´d use that tab to fly,i had a delay time for display 10-30 secs now i got it faster 1-5 secs. The Go app is not freezing. That terminator  does not need a rooted device.

The APP problem might be caused by incompatibility issue.
Please try your another tablet and install the APP again to check the performance, hope it works.

no, problem is DJI GO memory leak, that developers cannot fix.
