Hi,
I have a phantom 3 standard for a month. I was able to do about ten flights at altitudes of 120 m and distances of 150 to 200 m without problems.
From 5 to 8 flights the radio signal cuts even at 25/30 m at a distance of less than 80 m.
I changed geographical place to get rid of a problem of local disturbances.
I reset the compass, the wifi connection and redo the pairing between the radio and the drone. Nothing changes the radio signal cut and the phantom 3 starts a Return To Home (happy no damage!)
I should point out that neither the radio nor the phantom 3 had any impact or fall. Probably it is a failure of the transmitter or Radio receiver.
The FW is 1.810.
Is there a solution to this problem? Thank you in advance . Goodbye

This is not uncommon and no-one has found the answer ... seriously - Despite all the talk and crap you read - NO-ONE has answered this one fully yet. In fact I don't think it can be as the problem is like 'How long is a piece of string ?'

My belief is it comes down to the antenna and format of signals using 2.4Ghz WiFi and 5.8Ghz ....

Most people end up replacing the Controller antenna with Argtek (about $40 - $50) or Itelite (over $100) systems. Many go through the Windsurfer attachment which helps 'focus' the 5.8Ghz control signal and can lead to doubling of range ... I went from 300 to 600m with it.
My Argtek gave me reliable consistent over 1000m and in rural conditions over 2500m.

The out of box antenna system is so variable in performance - as i say - most people remove stock and replace with better.

Have you tried to adjust the antenna during the flight?

I fly on the same terrain since I have this phantom 3 standard. The DJI hotline tells me that my smartphone (samsung Galaxy A3 2016) is not compatible that it is for that ???

Changing your phone will not increase your range.  I had the very same issue as you and went for the Argtek antenna - easy install and super range.

No I do not know the antennas Argteck. I do not understand why this worked very well for about ten flights and now the signal is degraded? On the other hand my drone is still under warranty so if I change the antennas the warranty stops!

In reality I am really disappointed by DJI! I thought their drones were of excellent quality and impeccable functions. I realize that this is not the case. Technical specifications are not adhered to! I am not confident anymore.
