Which is best tablet for phantom 4 pro?? iPad mini is but too costly, so just asking which is best alternative? I need big screen, bigger the better as my iPhone 6 is way too small!

Shield K1 means looking for trouble. I went through an ordeal ending in throwing it away.
Just search this and other forums THOROUGHLY. I was intrigued by people saying K1 is THE device.
Only after I bought it and having trouble I did more digging and it turns out that it is not a reliable device.
Android in general is a much weaker platform for DJI devices.
I'm happy with Ipad Mini 4 now...

iPad Pro 9.7 is great, but iPad mini also does a great job.

Shield K1 is a actually a very solid contender. It's Android 7 that caused the majority of the problems with that tablet. Yes, there are issues here and there with it and DJI Go (and Go 4) aside from Android 7, but pretty much all devices have some minor issues with DJI's software.

If you're trying to have a quality experience with the P4P, you need to invest in a decent mobile device. Unfortunately, you may not be able to find anything good enough that is not "too costly" in your own opinion.

Ipad mini4 +cell

Hello. Am using Nvidia shield K1 with a lot of pleasure.  Do not update to Android 7 nougat though.  The app will crash every 5 to 7 minutes ! I have reverted to ver 6.0.1 and no more crashes. The tablet has a builtin screen and sound recorder so no need of third party app. Its around 200 usd.

The Nvidia K1 is working great for me too once we figured out how to roll back out of Nougat. Sounds like a lot of trouble but it's not and the K1 works great!!
Better get one soon because they are harder to find.
