I find reflection from my iPhone screen makes it extremely difficult to see what is happening in bright sunlight. Is there a spray or film available to cut the reflections?

I recommend Axe instead of Old Spice and for film I will also recommend Chong & Chong - Up in Smoke!

i installed a glare protector on my iPad mini, it helped a little bit but not as much as I was hoping. I think a hood may be your best option

I guess a spray won't help that much.
A suncover will do the trick for you

OK all - thanks for the comments.   I have a hood but that's not enough.  Are you serious about Old Spice ( aftershave>?).
I remember from my early days as a photographer that there were sprays available for prints and also for the glass in framed prints.   What's happened to those?

I've tried several screens and still cannot see in direct sunlight, a sunshade is pretty much the best you can do.

Well, I have to agree so far.   I have a sunshade but the reflections from the glass are still a problem.   I'll keep looking.

The item you mention does not appear to be available in the UK (shipping from USA is prohibitive and usually incurs import tax as well).  I believe you may be thinking of an iPad but I'm using (for the moment at least) an iPhone 6.   The hood I have is not efficient enough and the screen remains difficult to see in bright sunlight.

Ahhh, I see sorry about that.
There are several companies that make a hood for your phone including DJI.

Looks interesting - thank you.
Does anybody have experience of this product and, if so, what is your opinion please?  It's the most expensive solution I've seen up to now.

I have the DJI hood, very simple to use and it works for me. I have never tried any others.

I've found a couple of YouTube videos showing how the hood is assembled and I see that it is mounted on the antennas.   Doesn't that affect the range of the controller?

No it does not affect the antennas at all. It was designed by DJI so they would not produce an item that would impair the antennas.

Oh, BTW, the hood I have at the moment is the PGYTECH one which I find to be totally inadequate.

I think I said earlier that I couldn't find a UK retailer for this.
