Hello! And thanks for any input, I've recently purchesed a Phantom 3 Pro replacement from DJI under thier Replacement parts ( Part 120 Phantom 4k Aircraft ) which is like buying the entire setup but without the controller and battery charger.

Anyways my issuue is pairing the new drone with my old remote controller, the RC came from my last P3P which sadly Is no longer with us. From what Ive read online, the old controller is permanetly paired with the old drone... But some online say otherwise, so far ive tried pairing the new drone with the RC inside of the app, and manually with just the RC and Drone. Bascially the red light stays flicking on the drone, and eventually the RC times out looking to pair.

Anyone ever have this situation? I plan to call DJi tomorrow when they are open, worst case ill be ordering a new controller.

Your Phantom 3 pro remote will not work with the Phantom 3 4k, the 4k does not use the same transmission technology.
So sorry to say you have bought the wrong model...
