My mavic is one of the "lucky" ones that cant be updated....

I dont like this issue but the drone works well so thats ok. however, now that FW 0400 is not avaiable on dji assistant, and 550 will probably leave the assistance soon, i will probably not be able to buy new batteries because I wont be able to downgrade the battery FW

is there any risk with flyng the drone and the batteries with different FW? is there a way to install older versions of FW?

I have flown every firmware between .0400 and .0700 and the batteries don't need updating between all the revs

IGood to know...I  read that the drone and Battery FW must be the same....but if works this way, better.

It must be a compliant firmware on the battery.  Lets just say it hasn't changed between these revs but it very well could on .0800 or whatever the next rev is.
