I have looked at the update notes for the DJI go 4 app. I fly a P 4, and I don't see anything new for the P 4. I also use a iPad mini 2. Is the update for me going to be useful?

As far as P4 specific functionality goes, there isn't anything new with v4.1.0. The latest update added support for the new DJI Spark, fixed a few performance issues with other units, adjusted some of the NFZ areas, and updated the DJI account login process minutely. If you don't think that it's an update you want to partake in at this time, then you can hold off on updating.
