I see the DJI Goggles support HDMI 1.4b.  

Questions:
   
1. If I understand this correctly it should be possible to use a HDMI source that sends a different signal to each eye and watch a 3D movie.  Is this correct?

   
2. Because the device has a micro-SD card in it and can play videos from this card.  Is there any format of 3D videos that the goggles can support?
   

It's amazing that, given the all in all likelihood of the DJI Goggles being perfectly capable of displaying 3d in the ways you suggest -not to mention VR content- that DJI remains so mum on the subject.

When I first preordered them I thought naively that such support was a no-brainer. And although I certainly enjoy using it with my Mavic, it's main purpose, I'd very very much enjoy being able to watch 3D content on it. It's a huge piece of equipment, and it seems a waste to not maximize its potential all-around... every few days I search the web for updated into on it, or perhaps a harmless non-intrusive hack....
