DJI Warranty - what to send back?

Hi my mavic pro has encountered the gimbal overload issue and I need to send it back. However, I do have some questions.

1) Do I have to send the controller with the mavic?

2) Do I have to send the original box too? What if I lost it?

3) It is most likely covered by warranty right?

If the controller is working fine, there is no need to send it in. I would recommend you to send the drone in with the original box . If you lost the box , please use an appropriate packaging to pack up the drone,  make sure it won't be damaged during shipping. The drone needs to be evaluated after it arrives, it will be covered by warranty if it's product malfunction and within warranty period.

Hmm, I've asked the very same question albeit in the wrong forum section and without DJI.

I have an issue with stress cracks on the case and have also sent back the controller but removed the battery.

The instructions for return were very clear but struck me as odd that I should return a fully working controller, hence my question as to what to return.

I assume I'll have no problems with having included the controller?

I'm very grateful for the offer but the package is currently en-route and tracking suggests it will be with you in Holland tomorrow.

I've no doubt I'll get a first class service so have no worries right now

The aircraft needs to be evaluated after it arrives, If it is already un-fixable, the repair center would have replaced it with a replacement.

The global technical support form says that I don't have to send in propellers, SD card, controller.
The DJI case information page says the following: Products to be sent in: Mavic pro whole product set.

Have a question. I have opened a repair case on my drone, the issue is with gimbal camera. Do i need to send everthing like controller, battery, wires etc? The issue is only with drone camera

Hello, there. Sorry for the inconvenience. You don't need to send back all the items, just need to send the device that needs to be repaired back.
If you confirm that other devices or items work normally, you can send the aircraft back only.
