My feature request: Whenever a storage is being formatted (Drone internal / Drone card / RC card), have the file numbering continue the counter from the last taken file.
This is important for files being imported into an editing software such as LightRoom, as importing two files by the same name, may render a conflict and an undesired behaviour.

Most DSLR/Mirrorless cameras enable this as an on/off feature, and it really helps.

So, pelease DJI: Have file numbering survive storage formatting. This is true for both the drone and the RC storage.

Not a fix but a temporary workaround is to erase all but the last video or photo from the card.  Then the file numbering will continue on.  They really need to add a continuous file numbering option as was the case in DJI Go/Go 4.

But very few want to do that and some of those that don't want to do that are quite prolific typists.

Workaround could be to just delete files using a computer and not format?

But that doesn't achieve what the OP was asking for.
Besides, what does it matter if you format the card?
