Enjoying a picnic lunch on the bank of the river Wye at Bakewell, I was reminded of a discussion with @DAFlys about the controversy surrounding the historical accuracy of the naming of a famous confection originating in the town. The Pocket2 came in handy in throwing some light on the matter.
Mr. Kipling has some exceedingly good ideas, but he was about a century too late.

I’ve never had a pudding but I’ve had a tart very nice too - looks windy looking at the sign outside the tart shop and the way the dogs holding on to his owner

Haha. It was a bit breezy, though pleasantly sunny.

Thats my plan,   a walk up to the blue bells wood that are in Hadleigh to see if they are any good and I'll take the Avata for some flying whilst there.

I spotted a clump of wild bluebells in the Torrs, for the Pocket2 to take a look at later.
Enjoy your AVATA experience.

I'm not very firm on British dishes.
"minced" to me is (pepper)mint, "custard" mustard and so on.

Yes, I kind of stick to what I know (and as the breakfast is so large I usually don't have another warm meal.

Interesting. I saw one other. I thought "Captain" was as far as a non employee could go. If it's "higher" captain at all.

Not enough it seems. I counted mine: Air (1), Mini 2, FPV, Mini 3 Pro, Avata. You don't have to keep them, though. I have only the M3P left...

AJ has much more but is not a core user, so something must have gone wrong there.

For us, the great debate is about whether having pineapple on a pizza is the ultimate culinary blessing or the greatest crime against humanity (I myself am strongly in the "put some pineapple on my pizza please!!!" camp.)

Gammon with pineapple is just about OK, but on Pizza?  No!

Each to their own, I guess. You eat the half that has no pineapple, I eat the one that has.

It is crazy how some people here are so intransigent on it, they demand everybody else to do as they think about it

Yes. We were just in Cornwall (visiting the Eden Project.)
To get there, you have to travel through Devon.
There is a similar controversy down there about Cream Teas.
A kind of small cake is cut in half, then laden with jam and cream.
But which goes on first?  The jam or the cream?
The argument about that goes on

Yes, people seem to always find new ways to argue about foods

Another debate that goes around here is the discussion about which goes first on a bread: a slice of cheese or the cold cuts. Not even sure why.

SLice of dry white bread, a smear of Dijon mustard, slice of  boiled ham, then slice of cheese, topped with another slice of mustard-smeared white bread.  Indisputably the correct sequence
