Loving the Avata 2. My first drone in over three years and first ever time flying in FPV (as you can probably tell lol). Still, no crashes in seven flights in my first week.
Footage taken in multiple locations across south England, UK with no ND filter or an ND8 recorded in 4K/60 (but probably rendered). All editing done by AI using the LightCut app - thank God as I hate editing.

No crashes AJ,  you must be flying it wrong.

BTW flying through your legs is harder than it looks and you can crash.

It was all very low speed,  I think that was the issue,  I should have just gone for it and full tilt.

Ive not tried the goal posts get,    although I did nearly fly through a boats rigging.

It's amazing how much control you get. I pointed the drone down about 170 degrees , flew to the ground, turned 90 degress then flew through a gap between two tress all in close vicinity - that would have been impossible with a conventional drone like a Mavic.

Funny you say that,  someone just left a comment on my video saying that the Air3 can do what the avata is doing.   .  Ive not bothered to respond.

Ive certainly made more videos this week than the rest of the year combined.

lol It's good to be back on it mate and to see a number of old names still active on here.
Now my phone does all the editing for me with added sound effects and music I may post more vids and the odd photo but TBH I really bought this drone simply for the fun of flying and it's holding up on that.

Honestly - I had never been so apprehensive taking off with a new drone. After taking off I remained in beginners mode for literally 30 seconds and by the end of my first flight I was skimming tree tops at 36mph and threading gaps on my second flight. It is the easiest form of drone flying (using the motion controller) I have experienced to date.
The issue you may face is not the skill needed to fly it but whether you will take to wearing goggles and flying in FPV. If you wear goggles with your present drones then trust me, the Avata 2 will be easy. Of course flying in manual with the RC 3 is a different beast entirely.

Thanks (what's your first name if you don't mind). It's just very easy to learn once you get past wearing the goggles which thankfully isn't an issue for me. Try them again one day while sat down mate - many people feel more comfortable wearing them in that position.

Looks like fun. Was it hard to get the feel?

Not at all - very easy to get the hand of it from the first take off (with the motion 3 controller).
