l bet it's fun to be chasing the birds for a change, rather than having them attack the Mini3 Pro Exhilarating viewing.

That sun being out only at the castle was quite a nice touch,    it's a shame it doesnt always cooperate.

S or N mode? BTW to repel birds I recommend sticking red reflective tape on the drone. Just make sure you're not covering the props, the gimbal or any of the sensors for Vision Positioning.

Love the ripping footage.  Nothing beats low and fast, especially in a few spots where you were skimming over the mud flats.  Great job DA.

Both S and N as you cant take off in S mode.

I already have red tape on my Mini 3 which suffers from bird interest.

For some reason the Mini 4 Pro attracted more birds than the Avata 2. Maybe because Avata 2 is noisier.

Trying,   weather permitting,   on the live stream yesterday the wind was really working hard to control where the drone went.

No doubt the shroud around the props make for a great wind catcher but the Avata 2 seems to have enough power to counteract that quite well.

It just add a huge amount of lean into wind to counter it which then makes steering a little harder.

It does that well and so far no battery overload messages like my mini will give me if I push it too hard.

Do you find the motors to be stronger on the Avata 2 over the Mini 3 Pro?

Im sure they are as this thing can hit 70mph were the mini is limited to 35ish.

Difference in aerodynamics and stronger motors it does sound like.

Oddly the motors seem physically smaller,   It will be interesting to see if anyone does do a 5 bald prop mod for it.

You're right about that.  It didn't take long after the Avata 1 came out that there were a couple of 3 blade vs 5 blade prop videos.
