Took a wander up to our local Woodland Trust woods, Spud Wood in Lymm yesterday, along with the AVATA and MINI3 Pro - I needed to test fly the AVATA after the jellification issues in Scotland, thankfully all seems good now...

Anyway, a nice relaxing walk, a fly through the trees along the path - Endor speederbikes anyone - and some woodland views...

Beautiful views. I like the hike through the woods but I'm still partial to the cinematic views you get with the standard DJI drones. They are perfect.

Thanks... yup, they both have their places, I like my cinematic, but the FPV footage can add something, if done correctly, such as the woodland flight through the woods...

You're very welcome.  It really would be cool to have a small squadron of Avatas flying down that path.  

Seems perfectly smooth now. Did you manage to put your finger on the issue causing the jello in some of your earlier footage?

Thanks... yes, seemed to be the bumpers that were causing the vibration, but I gave it a thorough going over and tightened everything at the same time... Fingers crossed it all seems ok now...

I'm fairly use to it now after nearly 30 flights with this drone and been flying drones since 2016 and won't be flying in acro in a woodland lol. I sometimes have the goggles linked to my phone and use that as the screen with the goggles on my forehead unless accompanied then fly FPV. Still easy to lose sight through woodlands I imagine, even with a spotter.

Thank you for the early viewing - were you actually flying the Avata backwards or reversed in editing? Very controlled flying - I have really taken to these cine whoops! You can put them almost anywhere.

YVW... It was all flown forwards and some was then reversed in DaVinci, but the speed is all at the normal rate...

The AVATA are really fun to get into spaces, its just getting used to them... I can't wait to have another go at Falls of Bruar, now I have the issue sorted it should be possible to get some amazing footage there..

Your Avata video has inspired me to post my very first flight when I received my Avata2. I was hesitant since it was much flying in the woods by my home but I haven't posted in awhile so I will give it "shot"

Thank you for allowing me to post on your link and for your comments. I plan to take my time getting familiar with manual mode. On a simulator in manual, I do really well in beginner races but I know in a real time flight, I have to account for people, wind and obstacles. .
