Stumped 3 Machines; No Image Transmission!
In the decades I’ve been flying, I’ve had some real strange stuff happen with model helicopters but this one has me stumped!
Three weeks ago I had a shoot and took my Inspire 1 and three Phantom 3 Pro’s ran them all up everything checked out fine - we finished the job a few days later and put the machines back in their perspective cabinet for storage.
Three days ago (3 weeks later from last run-up) I pull them back out for another gig take them out to run them up and guess what? The Inspire 1 and two of the Phantom 3’s Pro's now have the same exact problem;
“No Image Transmission”
This is nearly impossible that three of the four machines would all have the same exact problem at the same exact time almost as if there was a self-destruct timer in the machines. All the machines are stored in the same air conditioned area.
Since I really need the Inspire the most - she goes in for Exploratory Surgery. The diagnoses is; Everything on the Inspire works perfect (except no image) it flies fine, Sats locks, IMU good, calibrates fine, etc.,etc. When I record video or stills, it records the data fine on the chip. When I stick the chip in my Mac, everything is normal good quality and clear playback. The second remote trans also works perfect.
This is just a "Few" of the different options I’ve tried the past three days with no luck or change.
Tried three different transmitters
Changed 3 Batteries
Changed the micro chips
Re-installed the same firmware on machine
Install latest Firmware on machine
Re-Installed latest firmware on the transmitter
Re-installed the Go App
Tried 2 different iPad Mini’s
Try iPhone 6 +
Try a Samsung S7
Remove the camera and cleaned all the contacts
Try countless different combinations on the app i.e. 4K, 1080 decoding, etc.
None of these machine have ever been down, hit, tipped over, never even had a bad landing inthe years I've owned them - they are perfect. If anyone has some suggestions I’m all ears. I do not want to ship these machine out of my site, so I’m looking for options>
Many Thanks Mike
