It's uncomfortable in every way, the controller is too big, heavy, and difficult to hold in your hands. The button placement doesn't help much either. Additionally, when recording points, the GNSS receiver must generally be held vertically with the help of a leveling bubble, and for that, it's ideal to have both the controller mounted to the receiver with a bracket. In short... it's a nightmare. I've tried linking the DRTK2 to external controllers or my Android phone (using the Survey Master software) before, but I've never been able to. |
