Hi there, currently we don't have that features yet. However ,we truly value your feedback and we'll make sure to pass it on to the right team for review. We're always striving to make things better and better, so please stay tuned to the latest news on our DJI official website at www.dji.com. Thank you so much for your understanding and support!
Bumping this thread. The Goggles are receiving a constant video feed in order to generate the view for the pilot. So DJI should absolutely allow the Goggles to auto-record that video feed to the SD card inserted into the Goggles even while the drone is taking photos to the onboard SD card. Being able to capture photos or video clips with the drone while also getting a single, continuous video of the entire flight (from the Goggles) would be very useful. I realize that Goggles video isn't as good as drone video, but it's still better than not being able to achieve this outcome at all.
This seems especially obvious to allow since whenever the drone is in Photo mode, the Goggles can’t be used for recording anything, because photos are not stored on the Goggles SD card.
Maybe we need a new option called “Always record video on Goggles”, which would auto-record at takeoff and then continue recording on the Goggles no matter what is happening with the drone. That way, even if the drone is in Photo mode or video recording is stopped and restarted, the Goggles will always have that single video of the entire flight. |
