The line transmission has what we call a safety switch on and off, if any bizarre activity happens (such as a drone hitting a powerline) it will automatically turn off. It has to be triggered back on manually with a switch.

But you're not telling me what is going to trigger that switch. There's no electrical (or even mechanical) disturbance on the line, so where it the trigger. That line isn't going to even know it was hit, nor the equipment hooked to it. Unless you can figure out a way to bridge the gap of many feet between conductors with your drone, there's nothing happening. |
