I totally get "why" you do that, but it's also not a company's job to force all users to be mildly competent humanbeings in their use of equipment. I underatand it's your company and you get to make the rules; I'm just one of many that don't want to spend lots of money on something and then have a 3rd party "break it" now and again. Some of the uses I wanted it for are multiple hours outside of cell service, so that'd be extremely frustrating to get forced out and not be able to use the drone. I know it's now "every 30-90 days", but I've been reading about users getting signed out daily; so I can't take that risk. My thought of a safe way would be to have a daily nag at the 30-90 days about refreshing FlySafe as opposed to logging users out and making the drones non-functional.
Anyways, thanks again for the reply and I understand why that's DJI's stance; I just wanted to point out that that type of nannying doesn't work for everyone. Have a great day. |
