Anyone else losing RC link and it won't reestablish. Brand new out of the box. I link them up. Take off, few seconds later the link light goes red. Drone just sits there. I have to grab it and push the battery button to get it to shut off. Imagine if this happens far away over people. The drone makes no attempt to land or come home.

You and MANY others are having this issue, among other issues.

Yes, Just happened to me on my second flight.   After 5 minute of slow flight - I came in for a close hover and it lost the remote controller connection.   It remained in a hover for a few (nervous) 30 seconds, then it re-established connection and I landed.  Keep in mind this is within 10 feet of the remote controller.

I'm wondering if there is as connection to the distances of the issue. Mine have all been real close in. Wonder if its too close it can lose link. Any thoughts

Yup. Random disconnect from rc controller. Near, far, with app and without app connected, wtg dji!

Thank god for Amazon. I spoke to them and they are sending the email to DJI. She said if DJI does nothing after 2 business days I file a claim with Amazon and they refund my money and deal with DJI. :-)

I sent a support ticket into DJI.  Running IOS 10.3.2, IPhone 7 (shouldn't matter), with the latest rev of DJI firmware build for the RC and Spark, v01.00.0400.  For the life of me I can't get them to reestablish connectivity either.  Somehow I stumbled into this on Day One, yesterday, but frustratingly trying to do it again on Day TWO and no success - yet.

I'm totally perplexed on why DJI hasn't issues some sort update regarding this and many other WIFI related issues.

Just received my return label for a full refund. Never buy direct from  DJI...Buy thru Amazon cause they tell DJI what to do :-)
