Some cool shots with my DJI Mavic in here. The Mavic is so compact and perfect for traveling. I had the GoPro Karma for 10 days before I returned it, the Mavic suits my needs better. I think I'm set on the 2.7K for filming. I learn something new everytime I put together a video.

Thanks! I just wish I could of got more drone shots. Lots of the islands you'd get fined if you flew and there were police hanging out on these tiny islands.

The big island Koh Phi Phi Don was ok to fly but all of the smaller islands that people do the boat tours to are part of their national parks and a no go. I think Maya bay was a no go, too packed with people anyways, Hongs island there were alot of police, Koh Lao La Ding police there. There are some in boats too but if you ask the guide there may be certain areas that you can fly in. The fine was $500 USD if caught too which is a lot more than other fines.

Nice one! We leave germany on Monday for a 3 week Thailand visit ;) Did you had any problems with the drone? I know there are new laws and you need a certificate. The funny part is that the registration is not that easy,
