Just got my new dji spark.
Trying to use the course lock mode but cannot find it in my dji go 4 app...
is this not available for SPARK or  is just the  setting different from DJI Mavic Pro.

Unfortunately it is not available.. like some of the other modes too. (Poi, homelock, waypoint etc)

Hopefully dji will bring them to the spark in future updates.

Spark has the memory room and processor power for those modes and much more. I wish they were included but I guess these modes may be beyond the scope for a social media selfie drone as advertised.

If the spark had course lock, waypoint and the other fancy stuff ( the spark is capable of these) then there would be need to buy the more expensive quads like the mavic and the phantom 4 pro. It's all about $$$$$$$$$

but just for fun a fixed wing option would be fun :]

Fly it in sport mode with the controller,  and it goes so fast it feels like fixed wing mode, camera turns and everything

WTF ! is it too much to ask for Course Lock mode ?
with Course Lock, it makes flying so easy ....

Course lock and home lock - both seem useful (like when flying along a narrow path with trees on both sides and you want to stay over path in middle - I see Litchi has this - not sure about AutoPilot

oh cmon, of course there would be a 'reason'.  People naturally upgrade UPWARDS as their skills, confidence, and the ability to expand their scope of influence grows.

New drone pilots with a Spark, if they are happy and confident, want something bigger, badder, and that can fly longer and farther.

Spark does not support Course Lock for now. Hopefully the engineers would consider it in the future.

Litchi has CourseLock and HomeLock - supported by Spark

course lock turns spark an expensive product. i dont think so. still it will fly for 13min, still it will have 2x gimble, still cannot fold arms. DJI please give course lock.

So you implicitly confirm this is engineering and not sales/marketing issue?
