Why is it my Mavic does not fly above 100ft? My andriod app is updated, firmware is current on both controller & craft, not in a geo restricted area, my limits are set to go above 100ft, and I'm already signed to the Dji app. All that being said i still get a "max altitude" message. I have messed with every setting i can think of yet my mavic does not go past a certain altiitude. Any suggestions you can throw my way will be helpful.

Weirdness. Have you tried removing the app and all its associate folders and files and then reinstalling?

Try to fly more than 50m away too.  Bet you can't.  Log out, log in.  Are you on 4.1.13 app version?  DJI are messing with your brain.

and check if the beginner mode has reenabled again...

I reinstalled the app and checked several times to see if Beginner mode was enabled which is not. It's simply doing this on it's own.

Have a different phone you could try?

I don't have an extra phone however I do have a tablet that i can try it on. I'll see if there is a difference with the tablet when i get home tonight.

Can you fly more than 50 meters (165 ft) away? (If not, the app doesn't think you are registered and logged in).

I agree with WolfgangStiller,  The restrictions you observe are consistent with an unregistered app.  Try the remove and reinstall approach.

Having same issue with with max altitude at 98!!! Trying some stuff, but not sure what to do either!

Hey I solved it! I put my ipad in airplane mode turned on wifi. Deleted and reinstalled DJI Go4 app. Logged back in and now she flys fine!!!!

Awesome. I'm going to give that a shot as well. Thank you for the suggestion. Nice to see I'm not the only one.

Hey guys. Uninstalling the dji go 4 app and refreshing the firmware fixed the issue. Pretty weird but that would suck if you're somewhere without internet or a laptop and discover your UAV doesn't fly as far as you want. I'm going to start doing some pre-flights at home before i take it out for full flight to make sure this doesn't happen again. Thanks for your suggestions everyone.

If you're near an airport. I see there are 2 areas off the airport where it's gray on the map (the incoming and outgoing areas I would wager).  Just curious, but if I got permission as it's a private airport is there a way to over ride this as there is rarely traffic? Or is it 100% built into the app and you can't over ride it even with permission and if I called the airport?  Thanks guys.
