What mobile phone do you use with your spark/rc..?

IOS (Apple) devices seem to have less issues with the DJI Go app.  I use an iPad Mini 4 on all my DJI devices.

iPhone 7 plus and iPad pro 12,9" for all Dji products.

One plus one , it's from 2015 but have no problem with DJI go4.

iPhone SE or an iPad Mini 2.  Both work great with the wi-fi connection.

Galaxy S8+ ... only seems to crash once in a while when I'm also on the RC. Big screen is nice. However, phone design moving towards no bezels (starting with S8 and on the next iPhone) isn't great when trying to clamp into the RC "arms"....

iPhone 7 for me on both my Spark and Mavic.

Pixel XL, but the app crashes a lot.  Sparky keeps hovering though and I can control it with the RC.  Just wish DJI 4 was more stable

Just bought a Sony Xperia XA Ultra, and it actually has excellent reception on WiFi, both to the Spark and the RC.

IPhone 7+, IPad Pro 9`7, Nvidia Shield K1 (all with different GO4 version)

iPhone 6 plus and an iPad mini 4

iPhone 7 Plus, 30+ flights, 1 app crash so far but I've been using my phone with my RC for most flights.

iPhones 6s Plus

Samsung S7...very few apps on it and it seems stable.

I'm using my Samsung Note 5 and iPad Mini 4.  Both perform excellently so far.  I also tried my retired Samsung S4 and the results were, in a word, bad.  Serious latency and drop outs.  I need to try it with the OTG connected and see if it improves. I would also like to try my wife's iPhone 6s, but haven't been able to get her to give it up for testing.

LG G6. App is not crashing but reception is terrible.

iPhone 5S or iPad Mini 2, depending on how portable I want to be.

Old Galaxy S5 (no sim card) with OTG cable. No problems as long as drone is high enough for clear signal (have only flown to 3000 ft at 300 ft altitude, but it works great).

OnePlus 5, no problems.

I have a spark controller coming and was wondering if you had to modify it to hold the Xperia?  I have the same phone but the specs indicate it won't fit the controller.

Motorola Moto G first generation wifi no SIM card. Works fine, running only DJI Go 4.

Use a Nexus 6 rooted. Was getting disconnect issues before last week's firmware update. But now no problems since!

OnePlus3 fully updated to Android 7.1.1
Seems ok at the moment.  
Maybe the app crashed today but I wasn't sure if I had pressed something by accident.

go between Nexus 6P and a Droid Turbo on Mavic and Spark.

Galaxy S7, no problem, work well.

I am just having problem with Helix/Dronie  ...

iphone 6 with the latest update, IOS seems to have less issues.

did you try to connect OP3 to remote with OTG? I cant seem to connect mine, its just charging the controller.

Galaxy S7 Edge - No problems and crashs.

BQ Aqaris X - brightest display (700 nits) and very affordable!

Galaxy S8+, no issues.

Start RC
Wait for Green light
Plug OTG in RC
Plug cable into OnePlus3
You should get prompt to open the app.
Click ok
Should be good.

Its a bit of a squeeze, but no mods needed to make it fit.

And correction, its an XA1 Ultra.

iPad mini 2 here!  works a real treat as a dedicated device.  yes the iPad mini 2 is older and shows its age a bit multitasking but if you use DJi go 4 or Litchi seems to be no real lag compared to the iPad pro 9.7 my GF has when using OTG on either.. with wifi it seems few more hiccups that occur on the mini 2 but i exclusively use OTG and found with OTG mini 2 latency between everything is identical to the Pro 9.7 inch.

if not a dedicated device then i dont completely recommend a mini 2, treat yourself to something newer..  i of course loading videos and photos and weather apps and map apps on it , part of the tool pack, these dont seem to impact performance of the DJI go 4 app or Litchi at all.. only impact is multitask switching
