So I've been using the Beta version for a few months now, and whilst its much better I do believe my P4P was permanently damaged by the forced firmware upgrade. Today I thought I'd update to the latest firmware which was released on 25/12 assuming that they would have tested and re-tested and INCLUDED a fix for the wobble. I was wrong, confirming that DJI are morons and they have no fix because they have damaged our drones with their forced upgrade. I hate DJI

Was hoping I could also get that beta firmware as I have a  wobbly p4. Thank you hopefully this will fix my wobbly issue. Is there going to be a more permanent solution  to these problems in the future?

Feedback regarding the latest beta firmwere.
I flew about 30 min, flight smooth and seems to be working well.
The one problem is that the picture on my tablet is somtimes green and full of lines, signal is good, i onley flew 200-300 m.

Is your RC up to version V1.9.3, if not try the following:-

With RC and display connected (aircraft off), and display has a good wifi connection to internet. Run DJI Go 4 (V4.1.20 and above) and 'enter device'. Open the 'aircraft status' screen by tapping the screen at top edge where it says 'disconnected'. The top line 'Overall Status' should show if update required (this may take a minute or two to appear). when it does then tap on that and it should take you through the process to update RC. That may make the difference to your display.

Mats, thanks for your feedback. Regarding the live video, it is also recommended to update the RC to the latest firmware or change to another recommended mobile device to verify.

Any news when the regular firmware will be launched?
Maybe today in the NY event? LOL
We are about 7 months since the last firmware release.

I'm so disappointed with DJI. New product announcement today and I'm reminded that they still haven't released a stable firmware update for P4 since the horrible release that essentially grounded us. I would have totally just bought the new Mavic air, but i know... I know that at anytime, DJI can easily ruin that too and not care enough to fix it in a timely manner. They'll just release another product after that. So disappointing

Ha.dream on.  Dji is too busy to do new firmware.  Busy to do new drones all 3 month on the market to make the values of the old down. So why new firmware if there is  a new model and yours is an old , retired price of crap with an inconsist firmware. Try to sell it.
Dji will do every thing to sell, more drones to climb the market.  No time to fiddle with stupid firmware. Btw.. it is anyway all a case of users errors. No mistakes are made ever in China.  So shut up and buy a new drone by DJI. Make them happy.

I am done with dji. Found a new, good product with ghost drone. Open source firmware. Helpfully programmers. Straigh6contact. If you need some special in your firmware...tell them, they do.  And no no-fly-stuff. Just a good can who can fly.
Btw.. there is a way to roll back the fantastic new firmware with all the bugs to and previously version. I did. Works.  
So instead to wait 7 month for things what never will happen, roll back, guys. It's better for many reasons.

Has anyone even got the beta firmware. Does it even fix the failware issues? I have mine rolled back and I'm getting sick of seeing the red update tab on the display.

A lot of us have the Beta; not all have .700 but many have .600 and it works great.

So how do I get the beta? Is DJI emailing it?  If so DJI please send to ofpd9330@comcast.net

No  DJI Susan this new firmware has a serious vibration problem, and DJI are noting  addressing this issue.

This firmware is ok
No problems

Aircraft totally unstable and aggressive after recent DJI GO update ....

It is not only about FW ....

It was an issue that was addressed by an aircraft firmware update. It did not have anything to do with the phone/tablet.

maybe you should consider to calibrate the IMU, and make sure you're in P-mode and not in Sport-mode... I don't have much others ideas if you're using the firmware 2.00.0700

already do it all calibrate , but still have wooble when fly

Can you post a video showing this wobble, there will always be slight movement in the aircraft or its position when hovering. Are any of the propeller mounts loose, or any damaged prop's at all ?


Edit:- You said you've completed all calibrations, I assume that includes the VPS calibration using DJI Assistant 2 ?
