Does anyone know of a way to save a location/camera setting so that I can do a before and after of my backyard construction from the exact same position once the job is complete?

If you turn on video caption it will have an associated srt file that will show the lat and long and camera settings. You should be able to get the date and time when importing the video files or pictures to your pc.

I dont if the DJI app can do it, but with the Litchi app you sure can! You can even do a timelapse by taking a picture once in a while depending how long your project is. If its something thats going to take one day then you might want to take a couple of shots every hour... if its going to take a month then maybe a couple of photos each day. You get the idea. The end result should look really interesting
