Its is the second time I get this message. 2 distint places. There are no aeroports in 15 km. There are no military zones anywhere near these places.
I got this message: "You are in a restricted area. Height limited to between 10.5m & 120m"
What is this?!

Whereabouts are you?..just approximately of course...

I'm near Lisbon, Portugal.

You should probably be contacting DJI to find out about any restrictions in your area (they set the details in their program for all of the airports etc,) or check your Phantom Vision Assistant software to see what you have your limitations set to..You can plug your Phantom in and check, please let us know what you find.

You can't fly in the dark circle and between the dark and light limits, the max altitude varies linearly with distance. So you must be out of the dark circle but inside the light circle.

Right, that is what the message says to him,  10.5 meters at the closest to 120 meters at the very edge of the outside circle.

It is a truncated cone sitting on the small end. You can fly anywhere outside the cone but not in it.

wow... pretty big cone! I can deal with the limitations.. but I just think its a little exagerated how far do the cone goes, no?

Commercial aircraft start their descent approach from 5 to 10 miles out from the runway.  This is why it is 5 miles from a major airport.  By the time they are at the 5 mile range, they might be as low as 1000 feet or less, depending on the aircraft.

Ok, i understand to top ceiling value. But what about the 10.5 m ground ?

That 10.5 meters would be 1.5 miles from the airport..  It will go higher the farther you get from the airport.
