Am using the simiulator, is fun, helpful

Every so often a white dot appears in the middle of the screen and moves around, seemingly unrelated to stick commands.

What is it?  What significance?

Always show?  No.  Comes and goes.  But ...
if I take off and climb, it drops down from the top.  Appears at about 50'.

Maybe it represents the Home Point.

Is getting "interesting".  

Only appears in one of the three perspectives.  In that perspective, if you take off and climb at about 50' it drops down from the top of the screen.  When it merges with the AC coming up at about 100', and you rotate the AC 360degrees, white dot does not change position, suggesting that it is not part of the scenery.  

I think it is a UFO, should maybe tweet Trump.

Don't do that, he will have it banned.

Be patient, in the next update there will be paddles and you will be able to manoeuver them with the sticks and play tennis -or ping pong.

I think it's just to show you the moon. It adds to the scenery.

It kinda looks like Saturn,...But it could be Uranus.

That's no moon.......It's a space station....

Fooling around out of the way......Never seen that on mine and been out with her this morning. Any joy with DJI if you have contacted them.???

Is it still present when you fly the drone in the real world and not on the simulator.??
