Ok, hang on. This isn't possible. You cannot shoot beautiful video with a camera that's "crappy," "a piece of junk," and "worthless," whose video is "full of artifacts," "nothing but jello," "unusable" "horrible," etc. It's impossible and goes against the laws of physics.

There is definitely something wrong with your Inspire's camera! You'd better send it back to DJI and have them take a look at it. I'm confident, once they've fixed it, you will be able to shoot "crappy" video like all those who claim it's junk do.

Sorry you're still grounded, GB. That has to suck, big time!

Next to skin tones, one of the things I base a camera's "worth" on is how it renders blue in the sky. This little bugger does a fantastic job at both (as the OP's video shows)--especially the sky! For some reason, many far more expensive cameras fail miserably at reproducing an accurate blue sky--everything from cyan to green.

Unfortunately, in my humble old fashioned opinion, with the advent of desktop post-production and (especially) color grading, people are wringing the life out of it--removing every ounce of meaning from this "tool." Just image what would happen to the color red if everything were painted red! I'd better stop...

Sorry, allow me to explain...

There have been several threads here, and elsewhere, whose OPs claim the camera is a piece of junk and the video that comes out of it is totally unusable. Well, if that were true, then please explain how this video turned out so well. This is, I believe,  the most beautiful video I've seen so far shot with the Inspire 1 and its native camera.

Also, this is the only camera I have seen in over 40 of producing images--motion and still--that is capable of producing such stunning imagery by using the auto function. Never before have I advocated using the auto function on a camera. This is the exception, especially for those who know nothing about photography ("drawing with light").

I understand Guy. I now realize what you were referring to, the statements that  the camera was junk. I have not used mine yet but, from the comments and the posts of photos and videos like the above and Jimhare's videos the proof is in the pudding. When one looks at the price of the Inspire with the camera, compare that to a decent DLSR. You will spend that much on a lens alone. I am use to my Phantom 2 Vision and very satisfied with the image results and the Inspire camera is better. I am looking forward to some outings soon I hope. Still have close to a couple of feet of snow and Temps in the teens here in New England.
