When should you discharge batteries for P4P storage

Curious as to how others are interpreting "long term storage" of their P4P batteries.  My personal schedule isn't letting me do much flying this summer other than on early Saturday mornings (weather permitting).  With this kind of usage pattern, would it be better for the batteries to leave them drained after the flight and put them in the battery charger tray under "storage" mode, or go ahead and charge them up and have them ready in the case?  Just looking for thoughts on this

Batteries should be stored at a 50-60% charge. When you're done flying, charge them up to that point, then charge them fully right before you fly again. Don't leave batteries fully charged for more than a few days either, make sure auto-discharge is set appropriately.

I quit my flying at about 15% then I store my batteries until I am ready to fly... I then charge them to 100% within 12 hours of flight.  I don't know if that's right, but it's what I have been doing.

Not particularly good practices, both flying the batteries to that level regularly and storing them at it.

Keep in mind the % figure you see is ultimately an estimate, the most accurate way to monitor battery levels is to look at voltage.

So, once flight is over, re-charge them to 50%... then store?  Easy to do... Is that what you recommend?

That is correct.
