I just got my spark yesterday. I really like mode 3 in the controller setting but it appears that only mode 1 and 2 are available with the remote controller?  Anyone else have success changing to mode 3?

When I got my spark I thought I saw a Mode 3 Option. I'll have a look for you now.

There is a mode 3 for me. If its not there for you you could use custom and set it up on that.

Figured it out. Mode 3 can not be chosen when using the remote control. Just your phone. The remote allows for mode 1, 2, and custom so I just set the custom like mode 3. Works great!

ShawnH, I have checked the device on my hand, there are Mode 1, Mode 2, Mode 3 and Custom when connected with RC. The Mode 3 can be chosen. While connected with mobile itself, there are  Mode 1, Mode 2, Mode 3. Could you check and confirm?

I have Mode 3 on my RC.  No custom setup required.  But DJI software is terrible so I'm not surprised you're having problems.
