Is there any way to do quickshot around an object instead of a person?
I was trying the other day to select a castle tower , i wanted to select an object and let it turn around it keeping camera locked on it (spiral) but it wont allow me as it says object unrogonised.
whats the best way to do this to turn around an object and film it from all angles automatically.
similar to point of interest on the parrot drones.

I tried that for the first time today and it worked for me...
I set it for auto track then drew a box around a stationary object and hit GO...
Then I could move the drone side to side... forward and back.. and up or down and the camera stayed pointed at the tracked object.
This is a great feature for filming.

I too, would love for this to be possible.  I don't really like to be in front of a camera...

Yes it works.

I suspect the issue with your castle tower is that it is attached to a castle and not visually dissimilar enough to its surroundings. That cube above works as it contrasts well against the green grass.

Normally you would use the Point of Interesst function. Unfortunately the spark doesn't support it. So you have to do it with either with active track or quickshot. You must draw a rectangle around the object. Clicking on it only works with known objects. (Car, People, bycycle..)

What about a moving object like a train or a car?

I tried tracking a slow moving  car.. I kept spark 90 degree to car and it did well..

Works great in active track, you can adjust the speed of the circle and manually fly further away and higher and it will remain locked on the stationary object - excellent for smooth POI types filming.

how did you get it to work.
mine keeps saying could not recognize object

The Active Track works well both when setting it up in the App or when I gesture mode (no App connected).

The trick is do the shot when the contrast of the object is greater than its background. So try it on different time of day.

try selecting only part of the tower. I tried doing rocket on my car but it didn't recognize it until I selected a smaller part of the car or going further away to start so the car itself was smaller.

It will work once the subject can be recognized.
