Is it possible to set the camera to NTSC as a default setting?  Seems to always default back to PAL after each session, and it would be nice if I didn't have to go into this and change it every time.

There was talk about the issue. DJI is addressing it with the next update. That is if I am on the right page.

do you know how we could ask DJI to make a higher Bitrate than 60Mbps  to decrease the compression artefackts? Or make possible 2K shoot with the same bitrate (60Mbs) without automatic reduction to 40Ms?

I am not really sure. I am into Photography and not that well versed in Video. Ask Jimhare, he is the man when it comes to Video.

Thinking about you question, are you hitting save when you make a change. I have never seen anything go back to a default once it has been set and saved.

Try to set it to NTSC AND set the video frame rate to 60. NTSC should still be set even after battery change.

I just tried to set NTSC and the frame rate to 60... but still reverts to PAL every time

When you change settings there is a tab that ask's "save" Also please ask Ed or Blade. They will be able to address it better than I can.

Ask Ed or Blade, they are the DJI Guys. They will address your issues with the DJI Staff.
