My Inspire 1 pro will not link to the controller. Blue light is on and air craft is in travel mode. How can I fix this? I can't update firmware in travel mode.

If you have not already updated your remote controller before the aircraft, follow this link.
If you have updated the controller before the aircraft, follow this link.
I tried that, the button did not activate link mod. I can see the flashing red light, but the controller did not link with the craft.

I've tried connecting the camera to the air craft after manually lowering the landing gear but the camera did not turn on and the blue light staid on.
The aircraft will not recognize the camera even the drone has been exit travel mode manually.
I mean downgrade the RC by APP to the V1.5.7 as Mark suggested. There is a link in his post.
You updated the RC before the AC, this is a NO , NO ( technical term ) You are stuck in Travel Mode , so now have the Blue light . Rollback the RC to version 1.5.7 and then re Link with the aircraft ( might not have to but sometimes you do , If no communication between the two then re link ). Videos below on Re link and Rollback below .....
Trust me I have seen it 50 times . ."...Im pretty sure it needs to be updated but that shouldn't affect the controller connecting to the air craft."
Yes It does !!!

Make sure you have a solid wi fi connection to the Go app before doing this , Press the button in firmly ( grad cap, top right of start of the go app ) for about 5 seconds .
What does it say when you try ??? does it say"confirm frequency" or what ?
Are you on 1.5.7 for sure now on the RC ?
Do you happen to know what version was on the RC and AC before you did this update ? You may have to roll further back if you have the option and continiue to try and link again till you get a match . Unless you remeber for sure what version you wre on .

I am 1.5.7 and when I try to link it says nothing. It just time out and nothing happen. Im not sure it is able to link to the controller in the travel mode.

I tried that and it still will not connect. I even tried reinstalling the app.
What version of FW did you update from ? was it a early version of firmware ?
Does the RC ( on the go app ) give any other options of FW to rollback to ? , If yes then install them then try to connect or Re link . You must establish communication with the AC or nothing is going to happen .
*** are you sure you rolled back to 1.5.7 and NOT 1.5.8. You must get back to 1.5.7

Yes I rolled back to 1.5.7 I still can't get it to connect.
See if it gives you any options to rollback further , If so do it and then try to re link .
If you can , use the Go app device ( I pad or whatever ) that you updated with originally .
One other thing to check . When you are trying to re link be sure to make sure the RC is set on the Go app to the Master and Not gottten switched somehow to Slave . I just remebered a case where I had seen that .
As the matter of fact go through your settintgs and make sure no other changes occured .
Also need more details in your replys , this will give more clues as to what the problem may be , I mean you dont need to write mini novels ( I am guilty of this one ! ). but give more information and more details . A video of you attemting the Re link procedure would be helpful as well . If cant post video here send to my e mail via phone or whatever donaldjames1990@gmail.com
I think we can solve this , but need more information .
*** When you are trying to Link , are you pressing and HOLDING in the RED button inside the Aircraft for at least 5 seconds ? Need to be sure of this !! Does the 60 second timer on the go app wind down as well .
watch the vido again to be sure not missing anything.
GO TO BOTTOM PF PAGE AS WELL FOR MORE INFORMATION .
donnie .
Inspire 1 = HOW TO RE LINK ***After you do an update ( or reset the RC of presets ) to the AC and Or RC you may loose connection between the RC transmitter and the aircraft . Once you confirm that you have the proper updates on the AC and RC go to the Remote contol Settings tab on the go app. go to the bottom and in blue highlight it will say "Linking Remote Controler". Before you press that , make sure you can find the Red link button on ther aircraft , it is inside the Main fuselage behind the right top silver nose cone screw , ( You do NOT have to take anything apart to find it ) may need a flashlight to see it. Once you find it have the AC and RC on and press link button on Go app , you will then have 60 seconds to press the red button on the aircraft, press and hold that button in firmly for about 5 seconds, let go . You should then have a success box on the go app.
*****If you get any message that says something like "Confirm Frequency " then more than likely you are not on compatible Firmware on the RC and it will need to be updated first . Once you update to a matching ( better term is compatible ) then you can try to relink once again.
Below is a list of Updates and the proper RC firmware to make things compatible . ( may not be up to date , I will do my best to edit but it may get slighlty outdated )

I think the problem is the AC is still in travel mode. I've tried manually lowering the landing gear hoping this will trigger the link but no luck. I've successfully rolled back the firmware to 1.5.7 in the controller and attempted to sink the controller with the air craft. If you know of a way of getting the AC out of travel mode without using the controller then let me know.

I think you need to send it in at this point . If you have followed the Instructions above from myself and others and till cant get it to work, then there may be a problem that just cant be solved, something may be broken .
Good Luck , wish I had better news .
You MUST be sure you are on compatible firmware or you will NOT be able to link the two together. If you are on the most current Firmware on the Aircraft version 1.11 then you will need to be at version 1.7.8 on the Rc for linking to work .
