I recently needed to buy a gimble ribbon. I could only find them on Ebay or Amazon. But you dont know if you are getting the real part or a cheap copy. I found one on Amazon that was in a DJI package. It arrived and you could tell that the card had been re-stapled, this made me feel cheated that I wasn't getting the real DJI part, just a package.
Where are people getting this stuff? How can I gain access to buy authenic DJI parts?
Amazon usually identifies the manufacturer. I buy all the time on Amazon, and I'm always looking for "DJI" as the maker of the product I am shopping.
P.S. My P4P was a package deal from Amazon. I have no regrets, in fact love everything that came in one bundle.
The gimbal ribbon of P4P is not available in DJI store for now. Please consider to send it in for repair: http://www.dji.com/support
And be warned. Research dji customer service.
You may never see your drone again. after months you may get another older model. or pay enough you'll wish you just bought another.
Why buy anything from a place you can't get parts.
Let Harley or Chevrolet tell me I have to send back in. NOT.
You can also check in with the folks at Atlanta Hobby, if you are looking for parts or accessories. They gave me straight up advice when my Phantom 4 had a problem, and suggested I return it to DJI for repair, instead of sending it to them. http://www.atlantahobby.com/store/pc/home.asp
I know about what they have on the DJI site, thank you. My point is you cant buy Gimbal ribbons, motors, control boards, in the DJI packaging, as I'm finding on ebay or Amazon. If they can get it, why cant I ?
