Hi, I cannot find info about my problem although probably I am not the only one.
I cannot update the firmware for the Spark Remote Control.
The update proces stops at 5%, the RC beeps and this goes on forever, I let it go for 30 minutes.
I reinstalled the DJI GO 4 app 2 times without any better result. Stops at 5%.
i added a photo of the proces on my phone.
Anyone has a solution or this RC should go back to DJI?

It's a known bug...Uninstall dji go app and find the 4.1.5 apk of the app then install this apk.Make the update again with the old apk.when finish you can update back to the new version

Doh,couldn't see your previous posts befor. I'm so incompetent.

You can download the 4.1.5 version of the app in the above link.here is how: first go to your phone settings/security and find the box who says install from unknown sources and choose it. SECOND go to uninstall dji go app you have in your phone .3 from your phone go to the link I gave in my previous post and download the app. 4 When download finish install the app and make the update without update the app from play store.5 when you finish rc update you can normal update to the latest version of the dji go app from playstore

Could you refer the below and export the update log for locating the issue? Thanks for cooperation.

ios app:log/upgrade0
Android app: /sdcard/DJI/dji.go.v4/LOG/CACHE/UP_NEW_ALL

Thank you for taking care DJI Susan! Yes, it is to be hoped that the bug can be precisely located and a fixed App be provided before the next firmware update. Only Android App 4.1.8 is affected.

Same problem here, tried to install previous version of App, but failed.

Strange, for almost all it works well with the previous version of the App.

Perhaps it does, but my problem is installing the App on the phone, although I have un-installed the previous version and removed the security settings the App will simply not install.

There is no such folderstructure as you describe on my SD card.
Under MISC there is a folder LOG but it's empty.
Sorry about that.

Look in the internal memory of your device.

the apk link which i posted above has 2 different sub versions of the old dji 4.1.5 app try to download both sub versions and see if one of these installs...Also make a restart of your device to clean cashed data...

Thank you so much, that worked.  A restart of the phone after uninstalling the 4.1.8 App sorted it and let the 4.1.5 install proceed.

Great to hear! Once the firmware upgrade is completed, I would nevertheless recommend you to go back again to the most recent App 4.1.8. It has bugfixes and additional functions.
