Hi Guys. I'm flying my mavic with ipad currently but thinking about upgrading my phone to 6s plus. I'm wondering how is the battery on 6s plus with dji go 4. My mavic is a combo kit so 3 batteries. Any advices would be helpfull. Thanks

i have had no problems running out 3 batterys on the mavic with that phone

Actually it's the only device i have that don't crash while flying. I'm waiting for the new ones to come out soon to buy another 6s+

I dont even crash with my 6 base, the 6s should be fine as a remote, even with video caching.

Yep, no problems with my standard 6 either.  

Works like a charm , much better then 5s version

7 Plus for me and it's perfect !  

I personally use 7 plus and have no problem with flying 3 batteries. And I will also prepare a power bank in case the battery consuming too much ( I am really anxious when mobile device power is low ).
Just FYI, not a specific data.

I used to fly with a 6+ but the 7 is ++!

The only problem is power consumption by DJI Go 4 which you already experienced on iPad which caused 6s+ to be very warm. Performance is ok. But why not 8+?

You def can. For me not yet as I'm pretty satisfied with the quality and performance of the 7 Plus. Got 128 gb on there too. No need to change as it also functions superbly with the MP.

Maybe next fall I'll be ready for an upgrade.

Yup, me too. Just added another battery. After carefully reviewing the power level on RC and phone, I realize that it can handle another battery.

That it of course if the phone is first charged with 100% before flying.
