Hi guys,

I have been searching around for an answer but so far nothing solid so I am opening a new thread. If there is answer somewhere kindly point it to me and then i will close this.

I have a hyperspectral camera mounted on a custom made gimbal with a Basecam controller.

Previously, my setup was, A2+LK900+LB1 and what I would do was to wire the camera trigger to F2 and set the GP Servo Action to trigger it. Then GS or UgCS would trigger the camera. But since the A2 only supports up to 50 waypoints, I would like to upgrade to A3/N3 with LB2. GsPro work in kinda the same way as a device on the LB2 remote as I understand.

My question is that how would I control my camera then? Would the signal still come from the A3/N3? Or do I have to get a different device to trigger the camera?

I am sure it is not that far apart. Why not review the A3 Controller page? It probably is all in the mapping: http://www.dji.com/support/product/a3

Hi Kover, the example is using a Ronin MX.  Is there one using a non DJI gimbal?

I went through the user manual. Now there is mention of mapping controls to a gimbal but, if you look in the case of an A2, I was struggling to find out why GS was not triggering my camera until I went through the UGCS manual and found that I had to un-map port F2 to get the automatic triggering working. This is why I am asking. Thanks
