Today I faced strange errors that luckily doesn't lead to crash or something bad. But I gained logs and post it here to get some explanation (maybe it’s pilot’s error?) and help to prevent any accidents in future.

  

  

Aircraft suddenly got weak gps signal with 20 satellites, got yaw and compass error. Compass calibrated before flight. No magnetic/metal obstructions near my drone at the point when errors appeared. Successfully landed in atti mode.

  

  

Another strange thing: after yaw errors I got alert [url=]Current RTH route will pass a No-Fly zone. Pay attention to the aircraft's position to avoid RTH failure. [/url]But Spark was in 100 meters from me and we have no NFZ around at about 20 km.

I had the same errors today. Log files says yaw error and compass error.
The AC switched to ATTI mode and back to  P-GPS mode thrice during the flight, before I could land safely at the home point.

Jo A, did you try to calibrate the compass and gimbal before flight? When you change an environment, you still got the error message? It will be helpful to provide us the log to locate the problem.

Please tell me your app version and the firmware of your drone. What is the model of your device? Thanks for your patience.

In my ears it sound like the spark gets seriously confused when it has compass errors, and stops trusting it’s gps.

The gps knows where north is when moved a few meters horizontally, at least if nobody touches the rudder stick.
Knowing both where it is and where north is, and where home is, it should be able to go home using gps only.

DJI Go 4.1.11

Compass error , ignore  19 sattelites who were still presents with correct coordinates (in dat file) in my case and go with  "exit gps"

Please provide a screenshot of your situation. Did you try to calibrate your compass again and change a place without interference for check?

What should i do for safe flight, when suddenly compass error and start to flyaway but still undercontrol to rise and down?

Sorry for your case. The craft was confused about the direction of the heading,  which was caused by the disagree of compass heading and  gps heading. Then the craft stoped to use GPS for several seconds for safety. Keep the compass well calibrated And make the craft move forward and back when this happens will make it regain the truth heading faster. We are working with the algorithm to make it robust and safer in the condition.
