When exported, video is sometimes choppy. I cant figure out why this happends as i've done what i can up with that plays a role regarding this. Can you please check if the video is choppy on your monitor as well?
When viewing on from a usb on a TV it is smooth as silk. I have specs that can run 4k without any problem. I export with a H.264 VBR 2 pass and  10->12 Mbps Target bitrate.

Thanks for any tips!

I run 144hz  monitors on display ports so it should cope just fine?

Maybe it's your internet connection which is running slow?

At 1080p on a PC there is a very slight frame to frame flicker. Did you use a ND filter?

No this is locally and once loaded on youtube or whatever platform it still is jittery. I think it has to do with either shutterspeed, export settings or what SD-card the information was written on.

On first look I would say this is a framerate issue.
Sure does not look smooth to me.
What framerate did you capture your footage in?
And what framerate is your editor set to?

Shot in 25fps and edited in 25 as well.. Is it possible the sd card can play a role?

edit: Im gonna check on the editing fps again to be certain!..

Was indeed 25 fps on both shot and export. Why is it that TV's show now jitter when a computer monitor does?

Ok, that is weird indeed. On my laptop it is not as smooth as expected.
Usually this is a framerate issue, but if you both edit and shoot in 25 that is strange.
If you share one of the original files via dropbox etc. I can take a look at it.

It was a little jittery in the first few seconds on my iMac, but then it was very smooth! Very pretty scenery. A few transitions were a bit to abrupt for my liking, but not bad!

Looks okay for a 1080P youtube video on my Windows 10 machine.

When you say 'chopy' is that playing through preview on Editor prior to rendering ?

its fine when editing, but after exporting it was some choppy every now and then. I concluded with the sd-card it was written on had a lower bitrate then reccomended

Sure about that? Can one (not in this case) record 4k on a HS card (<25MBps)? I have less to none knowledge regarding this fyi.

SD cards do not affect the quality of a recording, they simply record the digital information. The only issue is whether they can keep up with the stream coming out of the camera. For this reason, I always buy the better quality (and more expensive) cards. I recommend Sandisk Extreme series cards.

I see! But if i record and the sd-card cant keep up with the videostream, wont this affect the end result as some information wont be written?

Not really. If the card cannot keep up with the video stream it simply stops recording and you end up with very short files. It cannot skip frames, as some peoploe like to think, in order to keep up. That is not technically possible with an MPEG stream.

I see! Not enough knowledge regarding this subject so I'll buy that

Choppy video can be the result of the computer not being able to keep up with the sample rate of the video. As an experiment, try recording at a smaller rate to see if this helps.

Shouldnt this cope just fine with a 23 fps 1080p?

When you see this choppy video, is that when playing back on the SD card inserted into your computer, or after you have transferred files from SD card to your computer hard drive (I wonder if the hard drive is fragmented) ?

This was after exporting and watching locally from desktop to VLC
edit: I have never encountered this before and the only uncertainty i could come up with was the sd-card specs
