Yes, this is the ultimate way to go with any film, actually. But your screenplay need redo. Some scenes had this well executed, spooky, after apocalypse mood, but colliding with random, full of life scenes. Good idea for a show reel, not good to carry a message or tell a story. Low freq rumble FX is rather annoying on the long run (too obvious, too loud?). And - naturally - diesel engines can not poof and hiss like steam locomotives do ... Good job, no matter what ...

Okay here is an idea for your future productions.

Try to produce a video including all dji's functions but not as tutorial. you can only put a title for each. Write a script tips at the beginning before shooting your film which will be about somewhere..

I know what you're saying, but I was aiming for a random feel to it as opposed to my other videos that tell a story. ALSO, great video!! Love the SFX. And question, where'd did you edit in? Premiere pro by any chance? I was wondering what your render setttings were...it came out so crisp I love it!

Yes, I do all my edits in PP.  I keep export format identical to original footage, the only trick to get nice render is a bit rate, which with 4K footage I'm setting at constant ratio (CBR) of 25. With lower - or various (VBR) default 10-12 I'm getting too much compression artifacts. Files are huge, but I don't care since I'm the one and only client ... Good luck.

Awesome video and cool concept! How long did it take you to capture all of that? Did you use footage you had already or did you plan each shot and location for this video in particular? Definitely better with headphones in too!

For this one I made a list of all the types of locations I wanted and then went out to shoot. Took about 4-5 days over 2 weeks to get them all. And thanks!

Love this. Waterfall in distance then louder as you move in. <3 How much of this was played in reverse? It seems like a lot would have been safer to do forward, but backing out looks great.

Actually one clip here is played in reverse, if I remember correctly.  Another one is mirror flipped, one or two are slowed down to smooth jerky moves a bit, but that's all. Thanks for kind words ...

Yes, very nice .... love the sounds .... this has been done many times in stills photography to tell a story when putting slides together to music with commentary overlay.  Never thought to try it to actual video footage but it works well.

The idea could be the same way as the subject ( SOUNDSCAPE ). That's why I said ( not as tutorial ).
