Hi Friends, I have a problem with GPS... I'm in Phantom MODE and the app shows me only ATTI mode, moreover if I check the SW status I have something strange on GPS line, as you can see from the attached picture. Can anybody help please...

After I take off, if I select the Go Home commands, the answer is "Please go to GPS mode first" (or somthing similar). BTW I have unistalled and re-install the App but nothing changes...

Probably a silly question, but are you set for NAZA mode and if so, is the S1 switch in the top position?

I don't see anything off with the screen shot you posted.

This is normal even though it doesn't look it.

Mine is identical to that...all looks good to me.

The 1st pic shows Phantom mode, so its not a S1 problem.
The real question is how many sats you are getting ?
Less than 7 and you will be in ATTI.

Not a silly question! I'm in Phantom mode and if I switch to NAZA mode when I put the S1 to top position the screen stays in Attitude, seems that the swithc is not working, but how am I so sure of it???

Connect your transmitter to your computer and check the switch position with the RC Assistant software.

The qty of available GPS Sats around any given location constantly changes since they are not geo stationary. Also the view angle to the horizon has a big influence on the qty of sats you can receive.
Better to check the prediction of how many sats should be available for a given location and time to compare it with what you're actually getting. Note the Phantom will only receive US GPS sats and not Russian Glonass.

I dont understand this.  

I dont think you can switch from Naza M mode to Phantom mode by switching the S1 switch.  If you're in Phantom mode, the S1 switch takes you from GPS mode to Atti mode to failsafe (RTH)

Adrian, maybe I didn't explain myself: if I switch (via software) to NAZA mode then I move the S1 from top to bottom, I can see: top=ATTI / middle=ATTI / bottom=RTH this is the problem, I should see top=GPS...

This is the way it works, at the top, you will see either Phantom OR NAZA depending what you setup the Phantom in the RC assistant software,

I see what you are saying,

in assistant you are on the rc  calibrate page and the graphic shows

ATTI     for toggle position 1 (top)   this normally is GPS-- not way to switch between atti and gps obvious

ATTI     for toggle position 2 (mid)

Failsafe  For toggle position 3 (bottom)   this has drop down menu with choices, I just looked to see if top position also had drop menu and it does not.

you want to get that top switch position to show GPS  vs  ATTI in the assistant software, correct?

it is on mine-   gps--atti-multi choice,  from  top to bottom

but if I get the the question correctly , yours is not and want it to be the same as

I see: ATTI - ATTI - MULTI CHOICE... Anyway I realized that 99% the problem is with the Range Extender, I cannot see anymore the network"Phantom_xx.xx.xx" and I cannot bind it anymore to ANY device iOS or Android. I already ask my dealer to give me instruction on what to do.... Thank you very much for all your suggestions and hints. As soon as it will be fixed I'll let you know what the problem was!!!
