Is there a problem if the the spark flies over the fog?
For once, after landing from above the fog, The spark
behaved madly !

Some pilot's had problems such as wrong altitude and can not land the spark.Someone else had to wait until battery empty and fall from 500 meters...spark sees fog as a land ....Did you have any problems; I also want to fly in fog....

Yes I have problems
The sensors began to make a sound and at a height of about ten meters began a very fast landing

The fog made Spark think it was near the ground and would descend at about 0.4 MPH.  Went into sport mode and was able to descend at normal speeds.

I am not sure in what altitude you were flying, for sure here in US is totally illegal to fly at 500 meters hight, that just can cause an accident and make people think even more that drones pilots are heckless , and just put other people in danger. I myself try always not even fly near busy roads, "afraid" if the bird gets crazy and just land on someone's car (very scary thought, since if that happens here , I just can sell my soul , to pay all the legal fees).

I had this exact experience earlier today and was not able to land.   Did lots of coaxing to get it about 50 - 75 feet in altitude between 'sport mode' and regular.   Spark had switched to RTH as well for some reason when it hit the fog layer.     Finally ran out of power and fell the last 50 feet to a weed area that I picked.  No damage from what I can tell.   Here is the test footage from that flight.

even though it looks amazing, it is not recommended because of the sensors that get fooled and think you are about to crash into the ground.

I've tried it out three hours ago and all I can say that the drone did not behave in the way as I've thought.
In a height of about 20m, the drone initiated the landing process without any corresponding action from my side. Luckily I could land the drone successfully without any problems.

I'll definitely avoid the fly in a fog like this morning...

It’s not barometer it’s VPS those sensors become active of mass clouds, it could be they are set to sensitive, in saying that front obstacle sensors are extremely good wouldn’t want to change that.

VPS= vision positioning system. It doesn't use ultrasonic sensor, it uses stereo cameras.

Agree.  While the footage is quite amazing, the issues with the sensors reacting badly to the fog is not a safe scenario.    However I do have my old Phantom 3 Pro that is not hampered by all the safeguards and will be trying that next time for better video and shots.
